Los Premios Óscar (también llamado Premio de la Academia), son unos premios que se celebran de forma anual y son concedido por la Academia de las Artes y las Ciencias Cinematográficas en reconocimiento a la excelencia y activismo social de los profesionales en la industria cinematográfica incluyendo directores, actores y escritores, y es ampliamente considerado el máximo honor en el cine. Es también la ceremonia de entrega de premios más antigua en los medios de comunicación.
Siempre nos presentan cuales han sido las mejores películas, los mejores actores, bandas sonaras y muchas mas. LOS PREMIOS SE CELEBRARAN EL DIA DOMINGO seran transmitidos por la página de Facebook "The Academy" y también por el canal E! Entertainment desde las 17 horas hora de Guatemala.
Joker obtuvo once nominaciones, le siguen Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, 1917 y The Irishman con diez cada una, y Parasite, Jojo Rabbit, Little Womeny Marriage Story con seis.
